TenChi Watch: Trigram

The Trigram is the basis for the I-Ching (Yijing) system of divination. The symbol is believed to have been revealed to Emperor Fu Hsi (2825 B.C.), while he was contemplating the patterns on a tortoise shell. Each trigram represents one of the eight elemental forces of nature and the design is often worn on articles of clothing or jewelry to ensure good fortune.
