Chinese culture developed under influences of Daoist, Buddhist, and Confucian principles. These three are considered both religions and philosophies, depending on how a person practices them. Unlike many religions, the Chinese people often accepted a combination of these principles instead of strictly following one, and thus they were able to live in harmony despite their different beliefs.
This quiz is about the basics of these influences as philosophies and personal lifestyle, which is the most popular way of viewing them in our Western societies. Due to various interpretations and translations of ancient texts, we used Wikipedia as the source for most of the questions and answers.
This is an educational quiz and you will be shown answers and explanations throughout the journey. You will receive a score at the end and an option to try it again to improve.
